Newsletters

We communicate with our clients in various ways. Certainly clients are always welcome to call or make an appointment for a consultation. We utilize e-mail for direct communication. In addition, we send our various newsletters to keep clients informed of the happenings both at CCP, Inc. and in the financial world. Here are some examples from our recent mailings:

  • More and more, we see people are so overwhelmed by facts, figures, statistics, and data that they lose sight of their goals and objectives. We are seeking to sort through the information overload and provide you with not only a good rate of return, but also with personalized service and planning that enables you to best utilize your resources to attain your personal and financial goals. (1st Quarter 2000 newsletter)
  • Although the economy continues to be prosperous, there are some signs that it is slowing down… The Federal Reserve attempts to slow down the economy by raising interest rates, which does appear to have had some effect… These figures make it a little less likely that the Fed will continue to push the interest rates higher. However, they will certainly continue to keep a close eye on inflationary pressures on the economy and react accordingly. We continue to look towards asset allocation and diversification for investment success. (2nd Quarter 2000 newsletter)
  • "The market downturn in the third quarter (1998) helped us all to reevaluate our risk tolerance and goals. It was a difficult time for the market but we saw tremendous rebounds in the fourth quarter". (January, 1999 client mailing)
  • "The performance for this quarter (2nd Quarter, 1999) reminds us why a diversified portfolio and disciplined strategy are so important. For more than a year, we watched the large cap growth stocks outperform all other assets classes. This quarter we see the asset classes that had been out of favor pick up speed and outperform the large growth stocks. Had we rushed to follow the trend, we wouldn't have able to take advantage of these returns". (July 1999 client mailing)
  • "The Year 2000 is rapidly approaching and the predictions regarding the effects of this well publicized computer glitch run the gambit from doomsday to mild inconvenience. It is imperative that we sort our what is "media hype" versus prudent planning". (January, 1999 client mailing) "The market continues to be somewhat unpredictable. Consider the rally in Asian markets and gold, phenomenal returns from emerging markets over the last 9-12 months, and the recent drop in price of many Internet stocks. The "experts" did not predict these events, which is precisely the point. No one knows, therefore, we diversify, at CCP, Inc. we monitor your portfolio to ensure that you are not over weighted in an asset class, especially one that the market loves right now. We don’t want you to be subject to more risk then you need so we periodically rebalance to ensure that your portfolio stays invested according to your risk tolerance and strategy". (October, 1999 client mailing)
