Carol C. Pankros, CFP®, MS
is the founder of CCP, Inc, a Fee-Only financial planning firm established in 1985.
Carol has a true passion for financial planning and works with individuals and families on
the coordination of their goals and resources, investment recommendations & asset allocation,
retirement planning, cash flow, estate planning, college planning and insurance review through
comprehensive financial plans and ongoing Portfolio Management Services. Carol is currently a
Financial Advisor to her clients and an active member of the CCP Investment Committee.
As a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), Financial
Planning Association (FPA), Chicago Council of Planned Giving and Rolling Meadows Chamber of
Commerce for a number of years, Carol finds ways to give back to the profession and industry.
Since 1997, Carol continues as an active member of the Harper College Educational Foundation.
Over the years Carol has conducted numerous seminars for both nonprofit groups and private
enterprises on financial planning related topics. Some of her presentations have included
NAPFA - Ethical Excellence, AICPA - The Financial Planning Process and ICCLE - Estate Planning
for Retirement Benefits.
For 11 years Carol was an Adjunct Faculty Member of the College for Financial Planning and enjoyed
mentoring students who had an interest in the financial planning profession.
Carol received the James J. McGrath Award in May, 2004 from the Harper College Educational
Foundation, is the past President of the Greater Chicago Society of the ICFP, in which she
served six consecutive years on the Society's Board of Directors. She is past President of
the Greater O'Hare Chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning, having
served for five consecutive years on the Board of Directors. Carol was the first Chicago area
individual to concurrently serve as president of the ICFP Society and the IAFP Chapter, as well
as several committees.
Prior to founding CCP, Carol worked at Cockrell Food and Vending Services, her family's firm
of 35 years in the Northwest Suburban area. She was named Vice President and Director in 1978
and remained in that capacity until the company was sold. Carol is a graduate of St. Louis
University with a Bachelor of Science degree, and a graduate of the College for Financial
Planning with a Masters in Financial Services.
